We have chosen to “tag” the resources that we find interesting : they may take the form of research websites or more random topics and they appear on the right side bar under key words.
Online resources:
Labex Arts: The Laboratory of Excellence in Arts and Human Mediations is part of the “Investments for the future” program since 2011. As part of this program, its members conduct research following three main lines: situations, technologies, hybridization.
See the projects here.
E-flux: e-flux is a publishing platform and archive, artist project, curatorial platform, and enterprise which was founded in 1998. Its news digest, events, exhibitions, schools, journal, books, and the art projects produced and/or disseminated by e-flux describe strains of critical discourse surrounding contemporary art, culture, and theory internationally. Its monthly publication e-flux journal has produced essays commissioned since 2008 about cultural, political, and structural paradigms that inform contemporary artistic productions.
RESEARCH TOPICS : we are seeking to develop innovative research on topics that allow for cross-overs between several fields and to value research that crosses more than one discipline in the humanities : Irish studies and the digital humanities ; Irish studies and popular culture ; soft power : online productions and global disseminations, etc.
Prospective MA and PhD Students are welcome to contact us to discuss them or to contribute to this blog.
